Since 2022, I have had the privilege of getting to work at my dream job — at the incredible nonprofit organization RMI (formerly known as the Rocky Mountain Institute). RMI’s mission is to “transform global energy systems through market-based solutions to secure a clean, prosperous, zero-carbon future for all.”

The primary focus of my role at RMI is to leverage green hydrogen to reduce emissions in the industries that are the most difficult to decarbonize (fertilizers, steel, shipping, etc.).

I was humbled to be selected last year as an “Emerging Leader” by GreenBiz for their annual GreenFin Conference. I had the opportunity to connect with amazing peers and leaders in the world of sustainable finance.

I also had the opportunity there to do my first interview. In it, I shared my thoughts on the opportunities and barriers facing the green hydrogen landscape — and what the forecast portends for the clean energy transition writ large.

In late 2023, I co-launched the Capitol Hill Climate Salon — an invite-only salon series that gives up-and-coming climate professionals the opportunity to learn from extraordinary expert leaders in the climate field.

In January 2024, alongside an incredible team, I helped launch Young Professionals in Energy DC (YPE DC). We are the newly revived, DMV-area chapter of Young Professionals in Energy, a national network that "aims to facilitate the advancement of young professionals in the energy industry around the world through social, educational and civic service-oriented events."

YPE DC aims to serve as a platform where members can learn from each other’s experiences, exchange industry insights, and jumpstart their careers.
